Sennheiser’s Wireless Remote Control (WSR) App transforms your iOS device into a central hub for managing the evolution wireless D1 (ew D1) and SpeechLine Digital Wireless (SL DW) microphone systems.

After connecting your receivers to a WiFi router via LAN cables, you gain comprehensive remote control directly from your mobile device.

The Arrangement view streamlines the monitoring of essential parameters such as battery status, audio level, and RF signal strength of multi-channel systems. Important alerts are highlighted, ensuring timely battery replacements. The app also enables remote Walktests. On iPad versions, you can customize the receiver positions to mirror a 19" rack setup or the performers' locations on a stage. The feature allowing you to capture a performer's photo with your iOS device camera and assign it to a receiver avatar enhances quick identification of wireless connections.

In the Editing view, users have complete command over system settings. From renaming devices to selecting Equalizer, AGC, or De-Esser presets, toggling the MUTE switch, adjusting Audio Output Level, users can make changes without being physically near the receivers. Simultaneously modifying settings for multiple receivers expedites setup procedures significantly.

WSR also simplifies firmware updates for ew D1 and SL DW microphone systems, ensuring that your system stays current. Please ensure that your iOS device has WiFi internet access and that the receivers are connected to the designated WiFi router via LAN cables.

For the initial WSR installation, firmware updates for ewD1 devices are necessary!
